Here is an adorable video about an Orangutan named Suryia and a Bluetick Coonhound named Roscoe. They both live in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species (TIGERS). They met one day while Suryia was riding an elephant to a lake to take a dip. It was love at first sight and have been best friends ever since!

Watch the heartwarming video about New York’s Chile Dog!
Bronx, NY – On May 14 at 6:30 AM, Chile, a yellow lab-mix, was hit by a car when she ran onto the Major Deegan Expressway.
Amazingly, her son, Husky, a German shepherd-mix, ran to the rescue! Husky wouldn’t allow traffic or police near Chile, barking and circling her as a fierce bodyguard. After many attempts police were able to lift Chile in a sheet, and take her to the ASPCA for treatment of a broken leg.
Meanwhile, Husky made his great escape, eluding police and engaging in a 45 minute high-speed chase, dodging vehicles, and running though oncoming traffic! Eventually, police were able to escort him onto an exit ramp where he headed home.
The owner of both dogs watched the event unfold on TV and rushed to the animal hospital. Lucky for Chile, because she had no tags or microchip. Thankfully, Chile and Husky are now home doing well, and Husky has proven his loyalty and love for his mommy.
The owner should be fined for not keeping the dogs safely home and tagged, but will be sentenced to the hefty price of the vet bills which could cost as much as $5,000 – I hope they have insurance!
